We also need volunteers to help with games being played at Nike. If you are interested in working in the Snack Shack or serving as the official scorekeeper, pitch counter, announcer/DJ or scoreboard operator, please sign up here. Please note that the softball game schedule is still TBD. We hope to have lots of fans come out and support the teams!
Schedule below was revised on 6/21/23.
For each game we need the following:
- Announcer/DJ - follow the script provided by the District for pre-game announcements and ceremonial activities, announce batters, pitching changes and scores at the end of each inning, and play music before, during and after the game. For this role, you will need an instrumental version of the Star Spangled banner. NOTE: we provide a headphone jack-to-lightning adapter for our sound system. If your device has a different port, we ask that you bring the appropriate adapter.
- Pitch Counter (baseball only) - record each pitch thrown in the game
- Official Scorekeeper - maintain the official paper scorebook, supplied by the District, throughout the game
- Scoreboard Operator - operate the scoreboard throughout the game
- Snack Shack Opener/Griller, Shift Volunteers and Snack Shack Closer (baseball only) - we need volunteers to open the snack shack, work 1-hour shifts and close the snack shack up at the end of the game - just like the regular season
