Welcome to the online home of the Great Falls Virginia Little League. We serve an area centered around the village of Great Falls bounded on the west by Loudon County and the north and east by the Potomac River. The southwest boundary extends to the south of Route 7 to include those neighborhoods in the old (pre-Andrew Chapel) Forestville elementary attendance area. The southeast boundary is Difficult Run.

    NEW - Introducing BLASTBALL!

BLASTBALL is an excellent introductory game for T-Ball and baseball for boys and girls. It allows for more action for a youngsters short attention span. More kids get to be involved which helps them retain interest in T-Ball / Baseball concept. The game is safe and uses a foam bat and ball with no gloves required. BLASTBALL!® teaches the basic T-Ball and baseball fundamentals of hitting, throwing, and fielding while emphasizing the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship.

Reminder GFLL AA Rule: No More Walks in AA.

In AA ball, pitchers are generally not able to throw pitches in the strike zone on a consistent basis. As a result, there are many walks in AA and the GFLL believes that this overabundance of walks greatly reduces the actual “ball in play” experience. It also results in AA games becoming so-called walk-fests. As a result, the GFLL has adopted a local rule for its AA program, see the AA rules page.

    17 Rules Myths

Take a moment to check out the 17 Rules Myths about baseball play calling, that every player, manager, and coach should review... they are quite illuminating!

    Rules and Conduct

Besides the National Little League rules, the GFLL has promulgated a set of local rules for game play that everyone should become familiar with. In addition to these rules, there is also a code of obligations and conduct for parents, players, managers and coaches.
